We are looking for a Cafe Supervisor/ Shift Leader/Barista to join our wonderful team

@Katie's is a successful, family run eatery based at Affinity Lancashire in Fleetwood

The Role:

This full time position is to coincide with the growing business and to support the Management Team in the day to day running of the business

Looking for somebody who is fully dedicated to the role and will be an asset to the established team

As well as your day to day responsibilities, the role has an emphasis on training, development, professionalism and motivation of the team

@Katie's is open 7 days a week and you will be required to work the majority of weekend days

Pay - based on experience and qualifications
Experience - minimum 1 year in a similar role and Barista trained is essential for this role

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Day to day running of the business, including appropriate & safe decision making in the absence of the senior management team; always ensuring that the best interest of the business and staff is maintained Barista trained is essential for this role Assist with managing the business Maintaining health & hygiene safety regulations to a high standard Maintaining professionalism at all times Stock control Wastage monitoring Opening and closing the business, including cashing up and paying the collected funds into the business bank account, when required Special responsibility for training and development of the team, including the formal appraisal process, sickness management and arranging team events Assisting in developing the growing business
Person Specification:

Exemplary customer service skills Happy and positive attitude at all times Excellent time keeping, reliable & trustworthy Experience in catering and hospitality in a similar role Able to demonstrate a real flare for leadership, loyal and a motivating & trust worthy force within the team Work well under pressure, within a fast paced environment and possess strong interpersonal & communication skills Remain loyal to the company at all times Escalating any concerns noted/raised to the senior management team in an appropriate manner and time frame Experience of working in a fast-pace, customer facing role Excellent communication skills Great attention to detail Food hygiene Level 2 or happy to undertake Driving Licence is desirable Management/Leadership qualifications are desirable
