Cafe Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, food production, and leadership, ensuring that our cafe provides exceptional service to our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to lead a team effectively. No evenings, shift pattern with be 4 days Thursday through to Sunday

Duties

Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staff management, and customer service. Train and mentor staff in hospitality practices, food preparation techniques, and customer service skills. Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly. Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Implement marketing strategies to promote cafe offerings and increase customer engagement. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe environment, including kitchen areas.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Background in bartending or beverage management is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for food preparation and an understanding of current culinary trends. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
