s looking for a Supervisor to work at our new branch at

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supervisor to lead our new cafe team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong background in food service management. As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and overseeing daily operations to create a welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties

Supervise cafe staff, ensuring effective team management and fostering a positive work atmosphere. Hands on role with experience of food and drink, taking orders, preparing and serving customers food and drinks to sit in or take away. Also oversee food preparation and culinary operations, ensuring quality and consistency in all menu items. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and health standards to ensure the safety of both staff and customers. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximise profitability. Implement training programmes for new staff members, focusing on barista and bar skills, food preparation techniques, and customer service excellence. Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and responding to feedback promptly Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events or menu items to drive sales.

Experience

Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential. Strong background in food preparation and culinary arts is highly desirable. Experience with baristas is a plus, enhancing the overall service offering of the cafe. Proven ability in team management and supervising staff effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a cafe or restaurant setting. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
