We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team. Duties
Assist with food preparation, ensuring all meals are prepared according to safety and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Support the cook in meal preparation and catering tasks, ensuring timely service during busy periods.
Help with the setup and breakdown of cafe stations, including cleaning equipment and utensils after use.
Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and serving food with a friendly attitude.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred but not essential.(We will provide training)
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in food preparation tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
A willingness to learn new skills related to catering and kitchen operations.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
