We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and serving food and beverages promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces, kitchen, and equipment. Support catering services as required, helping to set up for events and ensuring all items are prepared to specification. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with inventory management as needed. Stay informed about menu items and daily specials to effectively assist customers.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is highly desirable. Experience in catering or bartending will be considered an advantage. Strong communication skills and a friendly disposition are essential for providing excellent hospitality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated during quieter periods.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
