We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. Duties

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving customers with a friendly attitude. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to our quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Operate coffee machines and prepare beverages, demonstrating barista skills when required. Support catering events by assisting in the setup and serving of food and beverages. Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards at all times. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong hospitality skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience in catering or serving is advantageous. Barista experience is a plus, showcasing your ability to prepare various coffee beverages. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in food preparation and service.
