Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient 18+ Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons. Duties

Welcome customers warmly and take their orders with professionalism and attentiveness Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met Assist with food preparation tasks in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently Support in organising children's birthday party events Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience Opening or closing the site General cleaning duties required to before opening or closing the site Working within a children's soft play centre environment

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and weekdays A positive attitude and willingness to learn about our menu offerings and service procedures Previous restaurant or barista experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for customer service is essential

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
