Job Description
An opportunity has opened for an assistant cafe manager. The role would suit someone who wants to develop their hospitality career. You will already have supervisory experience in hospitality and would like to move up to the next step. The kitchen garden cafe. is independent venue is located in vibrant Kings Heath and host many events such as Weddings, Parties, Music gigs and also includes a garden and art shop.
As the Assistant Cafe Manager, you will be jointly responsible for overseeing the Cafe's Front of House operations including promotions, high standards of cleanliness and managing front-of-house staff. you may also help to manage the on-site Airbnb. Your role will encompass overseeing food service, presentation of cafe, marketing, team leadership and quality control.
We Key responsibilities include:
Oversee Cafe operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere .
Organise promotions to maximise sales in the cafe
Train and develop staff
Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste and optimise turnover
Ensure all customers have a great experience.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a supervisor in a hospitality role Good IT skills Experienced in social media campaigns an advantage Barista skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 11.00-13.00 per hour
