Assistant Manager
to join us. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests while supporting the General Manager in various managerial tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality operations, team management, and culinary skills, contributing to a positive work environment and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and food quality.
Supervise and support kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, to maintain efficient food preparation and service.
Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution that enhances guest experience.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and beverages, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
Assist in financial management tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on operational performance.

Handle customer feedback and complaints with professionalism, aiming to improve overall guest satisfaction.
Work closely with the kitchen team to support prep, service, and menu development as needed.
Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and ensure supplies are maintained efficiently.
Assist in financial administration, including basic reporting, waste tracking, and supporting forecasting processes.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or cafe industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate effectively.
Experience in food preparation and/or barista work is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of customer service and guest experience.
Organised, calm under pressure, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible and available for weekday and weekend daytime shifts.
A genuine passion for coffee, food, and hospitality.
