We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team, this would suit a school leaver or college student . The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our cafe runs smoothly, providing support in various areas such as food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring all items meet our quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Support catering operations as needed, helping to set up for events and serve guests. Adhere to food safety regulations and practices to ensure the health and safety of both customers and staff. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. A proactive attitude with the willingness to help others in a team-oriented environment. Experience in bartending or beverage preparation is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
