Responsibilities

Greeting customers warmly and taking their orders with professionalism and attentiveness Serving food and beverages in accordance with hygiene standards and company policies Assisting with food preparation, including basic cooking, garnishing, and presentation tasks Maintaining cleanliness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen surfaces Restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly Supporting catering events or special functions as required Upholding food safety standards at all times to ensure customer health and safety Handling cash transactions accurately and processing payments efficiently

Skills

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations Barista experience is a plus for preparing quality coffee beverages Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Organised with strong attention to detail in both customer service and cleanliness A proactive team player who can also work independently when needed
