The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily cafe operations, ensuring high standards of service and food safety are maintained. Previous Barista experience is essential, you should be able to demonstrate this during interview and hospitality experience also required.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including coffee, tea, and light snacks Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently Support team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is essential Barista experience is mandatory if applying for front of house Up to date Hygiene certification for kitchen staff Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Organised with good attention to detail Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if required
This position is available from January 2026

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 12.71-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 32 per week
