Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the cafe area. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations when necessary. Operate coffee machines and other equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all products served.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar cafe environment is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customer service. Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately. Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
