An exciting opportunity has opened for a hands-on Cafe Bar Manager at The Kitchen Garden Cafe. This independent venue is located in vibrant Kings Heath and host many events such as Weddings, Parties, Music gigs, Community events and also includes a garden and art shop.
As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Front of House operations including managing the front-of-house staff. Your role will encompass overseeing food and drink service, cleanliness and presentation of cafe, team leadership and developing the venue as an evening bar.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee Cafe operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere whilst minimising costs and optimising turnover.
Help develop the venue
Supervise staff to ensure adherence to hygiene and food safety protocols.
Monitor inventory levels, minimize waste and optimise turnover to maximize profitability.
Staff Training
Customer Service: Ensure all customers have a great experience. Address any concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, labour and food costs. Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and service standards.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a manager in a hospitality venue
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
knowledge of regulations and best practices.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,000.00-29,000.00 per year
