We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our independent seafront cafe bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food and customer service.
As the Cafe Bar Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer service, cleanliness and 'first impressions' are optimum - while also fostering a positive team environment. Your role will involve supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily cafe bar operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
Train, mentor, and lead team members in customer service best practices.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe bar
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal menus and special offerings.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a cafe/bar environment
Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership skills.
Experience in coffee preparation and bartending essential
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
