Job Description

We are a thriving, busy coffee shop and ice cream parlour looking to hire a motivated person to add to our dedicated team.

The right candidate will have an interest in and feel for food and ideally have some experience in the catering industry.

Duties include:

Preparing sandwiches, soups, pastries, bakes, salads & specials in our kitchen for the daily service.

Liaising with the FOH team to ensure a seamless service

liaising with the kitchen team to keep the kitchen and service running smoothly

We take food safety very seriously and the right candidate will have or be competent to complete level 2 food certification.

Hours are generally 8am-3 pm 2 days a week, SUNDAy and MONDAY

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking areas. Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency. Collaborate with team members to manage kitchen operations efficiently. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
