The Forbidden Corner is a popular tourist attraction in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. We are looking for a hardworking and passionate individual to join our catering team.

Do you fancy working at the Strangest Place in the World? The Forbidden Corner is looking for a passionate Cafe Cook to join our team.

The Forbidden Corner is a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises created within a four acre garden in the heart of Tupgill Park and the Yorkshire Dales

In this role, you will work closely with the Kitchen Manager and assist with all aspects of the cafe's daily operations, including receiving goods, preparation, cooking, service, clearing down, and maintaining associated records.

You will ensure that customers receive the best possible service and work with the team to maintain high standards of service.

Key Duties:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the cafe, ensuring smooth functioning and excellent customer service. Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard. Maintaining impeccable standard of cleanliness and record keeping. Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor stock levels. Confident in training new staff and leading by example. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally. Cover Kitchen Manager's days off & holiday Days
Ideally, you will have the following:

Experience in working in a kitchen or catering environment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
