IMMEDIATE START

Cook required for a thriving Cafe based at Hathernware Industrial Estate, Rempstone Road, LE12 5EH.

The ideal candidate will have excellent food hygiene standards, have good knowledge and preferably minimum of 1-2 years cooking in a cafe or similar environment.

The successful candidate will join a small friendly team, and be available to work Wednesdays and Saturdays with some holiday cover when required.

This will include working in our kitchen - preparing and cooking food whilst maintaining a high level of cleanliness.

You will also be required to work front of house, using a barista coffee machine and handling payments.

Main Duties:

- Prepare and cook food in a timely manner to a great standard/quality
- Follow proper food handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised cooking area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies where needed
- Front of House, Using a barista coffee machine and handling payments
- Opening/Closing Duties and Lone Working

Required:

- Driving Licence/Ability to get to the industrial estate as there is currently no bus that services the industrial estate
- Previous experience essential
- Excellent knowledge of meal preparation and working practices
- Strong Communication and teamwork skills
- Minimum level 2 food hygiene certificate
- Most importantly, you must be a people person!!
