Grub Fresh Food is a small Aberdeen based business. We are looking for someone to take over the management of our beloved cafe. Due to the current success of this business the position already enjoys a substantial monthly profit based bonus, and we would be excited to have someone hungry to increase this further!

The cafe aims to serve fresh, wholesome food with excellent customer service, all at an affordable price. Our prime location provides high volumes of passing trade. We constantly seek to develop and improve our food offering, as well as our customers' experience and we hope that this will be some thing a successful candidate will enjoy helping us improve on further.

The Role:



As part of the senior management team, the Cafe manager will be accountable for all elements of the cafe including;

Staff Training Controlling food handling, safety and sanitation standards within the cafe. Including liaising with environmental health Promoting our catering services to customers Product ordering & Margin Control Staff rotating and budgeting Product quality and cost control
This role offers the chance to put your skills and experience in action, finding better and more efficient ways of working and providing an excellent service for our customers. This position requires a hard-working individual who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, thinking proactively to create new and exciting ways of showcasing Grub Fresh Food. Ultimately you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement and keep our cafe into a favourite local spot.

Available to work to within opening hours including weekends and holidays.

The Candidate



We are looking for an ambitious, positive, self-starter who works well as part of a team.

The right candidate will have the following experience:

Experience in management or supervision. Barista experience. A successful candidate must have a good level of competence making coffees. Knowledge of food preparation, experience working within a cafe environment.
The right candidate will have the following skills:

Friendly, sociable individual who is confident in interacting with members of the public You can evaluate the commercial implications of all decision making Organisational skills keeping catering organised and efficient Highly responsible

Package Details



This is an incredibly flexible role, our cafe is open 8.30-5.30 7 days a week and is very sociable.

Starting Salary around 26500, but more depending on experience and hours. Profit sharing performance incentive bonus scheme. One free lunch. Discounts at all our branches. Free Uniform. Training and courses provided to help develop you. Pension contribution.

Pay: 26,500.00-29,250.00 per year
