We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

Supervise and manage cafe staff, including baristas and kitchen personnel, to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards in food production. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Train new employees in food preparation techniques, customer service protocols, and cafe policies. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximise profitability. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and team management practices. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction. you will be required to work shifts, organise rotas, griddle experience helpful as you will also be running the cooking on shift

Qualifications

Previous experience in a managerial role within a cafe or restaurant setting is essential. Slculinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes. the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively. Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of cafe management. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both staff and customers. A passion for providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
