We are looking for a Cafe Manager for our third and biggest store on Moorland Road in Oldfield Park, Bath, who has a passion to join the Taylor's family and use a hands-on approach to be a team builder, maximising the skills and confidence of the team. You should be motivated by achieving great results, delivering excellent customer service and manage operations seamlessly whilst being responsible in maintaining our high standards. With no day being the same, you must be charismatic and positive to manage the changes and challenges each day may bring.
At Taylors Bagels we serve delicious, freshly made bagels with a wide menu alongside with exceptional coffee. We are a growing company, with our fourth store having opened last month in Keynsham and ambitious plans to open six more locations in the next three years. We are looking for quality people who are inspired, motivated, and want to stick around to grow with us as our company continues to expand.
What You'll Do
As Cafe Manager, you will lead our team and take ownership of day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:
Operations Management
Oversee all cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier orders.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas and support staff.
Create a positive, motivating environment for your team.
Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and support.
Customer Experience
Maintain exceptional customer service standards.
Handle customer feedback and ensure a welcoming environment.
Be hands-on during busy times, particularly on weekends.
Financial Management
Achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
Monitor expenses.
Control labor costs and minimise wastage.
Marketing & Growth
Implement promotions, seasonal campaigns, and social media strategies.
Work with the management team to grow the business and improve offerings.
