Store Manager - Taylor's Bagels


Location:

Moorland Road, Bath, BA23PN

Contract:

Full-time, 5 days/week, daytime only, weekends are a must

Salary:

29,000-31,000 per annum (based on experience)

As the

Store Manager

at Taylor's Bagels Moorland Road, you'll lead one of our busiest and most established shops managing everything from team performance to customer experience, operations, and day-to-day decision-making. You'll be the person setting the tone, energy, and standards for your team every day.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be on the floor, prepping food, working the coffee machine, and guiding your team through busy shifts while also managing rotas, stock, hiring, training, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership



Lead by example every shift energised, organised, calm under pressure Set clear expectations and coach team members to deliver great service and food Manage hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of your team Run regular briefings, give clear feedback, and build a positive team culture

Operations & Customer Experience:

Ensure every customer leaves happy. Friendly staff, and top-quality food Oversee daily operations, from coffee bar to prep and packaging Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene Handle all store-level ordering, deliveries, and stock management

Admin & Financials:

Manage rotas and timesheets to ensure efficient staffing Monitor labour % and help control wage costs in line with targets Manage cashing up, reporting, and ordering using our POS systems Minimise waste and track inventory to hit cost-of-goods targets

Behaviours /Requirements - that are crucial for this role:

Strong leadership experience

- ideally 3+ years in senior hospitality or customer facing role
