Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, food production, and culinary arts. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, supervising staff, and managing the overall efficiency of the cafe.
Job Responsibilities:
Hiring, Training, and Supervising cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen staff. Creating work schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand. Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees. Handling employee issues, including conflicts and disciplinary actions when necessary. Ensuring excellent customer service by setting and maintaining high service standards.
Resolving customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Interacting with customers to gather feedback and make improvements based on their input. Ordering and managing inventory of food, beverages, and cafe supplies. Monitoring stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring freshness of products.
Negotiating with suppliers for favorable terms and prices. Collaborating with chefs and kitchen staff to create and update the cafe's menu.
