Role and Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

- Oversee all aspects of cafe operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulations.

- Monitor daily activities to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.

Staff Management and Training:

- Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff, including managers, supervisors, and frontline employees.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the team to foster a positive work culture and achieve performance targets.

- Conduct performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and productivity.

Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the cafe budget, including revenue forecasting, cost control measures, and financial reporting.

- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability and achieve financial targets.

- Handle cash management, banking, and financial transactions accurately and securely.

Customer Service and Experience:

- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service quality and professionalism.

- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.

- Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and drive customer loyalty and retention.

Menu Development and Quality Control:

- Develop and update menu offerings to meet customer preferences, dietary trends, and market demands.

- Ensure food and beverage quality and consistency through regular taste tests, quality control measures, and adherence to food safety standards.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize product availability.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Education:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is typically required.

Advanced qualifications or certifications in hospitality management, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Hospitality Administrator (CHA), may be advantageous.

Experience:

Extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including several years in a managerial or leadership role within a cafe or restaurant setting.

Proven track record of successfully managing operations, driving business growth, and achieving financial targets.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business performance and continuous improvement.

Knowledge of cafe operations, including food and beverage service, menu development, and customer relationship management.

Financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.

Other Requirements:

Legal eligibility to work in the UK.

Pay: 31,000.00-33,000.00 per year
