We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe / Ice Cream Boutique Manager to oversee daily operations in our vibrant Ice cream store. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food production, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage a dynamic team. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered.
Train, mentor, and lead team members to foster a positive work environment and enhance performance.
Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Monitor stock levels and place orders for supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Engage with customers to gather feedback and enhance their dining experience.
Implement marketing strategies to promote the store and attract new customers.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food service industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food preparation methods, and culinary standards.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail in both service delivery and kitchen operations.
Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
