We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, culinary arts, and team management. This role requires excellent leadership skills to ensure a high standard of service and food quality while fostering a positive work environment for staff.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes. Train, mentor, and develop team members in hospitality practices and culinary techniques. Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction. Collaborate with suppliers for food production and inventory replenishment. Implement promotional activities to enhance cafe visibility and attract customers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or cafe industry. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Previous supervising experience with a focus on team management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment. Barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
