Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee and pastries, with attention to detail and presentation. Assist with catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery and setup of food items. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and food preparation zones. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles. Experience as a barista is advantageous, particularly in coffee preparation techniques. Knowledge of food preparation methods and catering services is beneficial. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
