The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a comparable role, preferably within a cafe, retail or restaurant environment; excellent customer service and communication skills

The role involves all aspects of daily food & beverage operations:

Engaging customers and exceeding their needs. Taking orders and ringing up sales. Planning daily cleaning task. Managing and coaching your team to reach business goals and ensure a high quality of service Ensuring health & safety and food safety standards are met. Driving continuous improvement in cafe performance. Achieving goals and targets set by the centre manager. Sales and financial reporting

The ideal candidate is:

Passionate about food with good cooking skills. Experienced in Barista Machine service and training Able to develop customer relationships and drive sales. A great team leader, manager and motivator. An excellent communicator. Able to control costs and manage purchases. Organised and enjoys getting the details right. Familiar with best practices of H&S and food hygiene (HACCP). Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
