We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all measuring and testing equipment is calibrated accurately and maintained to meet industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to interpret schematics and use AutoCAD for documentation purposes. The Calibration Technician will also provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that client needs are met efficiently.
This role involves a high level of customer site visits at various locations throughout the UK along with overnight stays

Responsibilities
Perform calibration of various measuring and testing instruments according to established procedures and standards.
Maintain accurate records of calibration activities and results.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary, ensuring minimal downtime.
Interpret technical schematics and drawings to assist in calibration processes.
Utilise AutoCAD for the creation and modification of calibration documentation.
Provide support to customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to equipment performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve calibration processes and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all calibration activities.
Skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
Experience with AutoCAD for documentation purposes is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in relation to calibration equipment.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in calibration processes.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Solid electrical knowledge, enabling effective troubleshooting of electronic systems.
