We operate a fully digital telecom system and run a dedicated Out of Hours service, supporting over 50 housing associations and borough councils across the UK. Our Call Handlers are at the heart of this service, providing vital support to vulnerable individuals when they need it most.
About the Role

We're looking for flexible
Call Handler
to join our Blackburn-based team. You'll support councils and housing associations by following their procedures and responding to a wide range of emergencies, from homelessness and urgent repairs to dangerous structures and more
What You'll Be Doing
Handling emergencies
: Assess and manage urgent situations with speed and empathy
Documenting calls
: Accurately record all interactions using our systems
Taking swift action
: Respond promptly to customer needs and information
Providing support
: Guide callers through basic troubleshooting steps
What We're Looking For

: Confident, patient, and empathetic on the phone
Customer-focused
: Experience in customer service is a plus
Tech-savvy
: Comfortable using multiple systems and Microsoft Office

Experience
: Previous work in care, customer service, or call centres is desirable
