The Square Gaming part of the creative science agency at the heart of Universal Music UK. We are looking for a talented, ambitious, and experienced Campaign & Partnerships Manager to join our growing team responsible for fostering deeper partnerships - both commercial and promotional between the worlds of music and gaming.

The B Side: Skills & Experience

Marketing & Partnerships

  • Oversee the success of multiple stakeholder campaigns working closely with cross-functional and multi-disciplined technical teams from research and ideation through to delivery and live campaign management.
  • Measure & report on all campaign performances, establishing best practice guides & benchmarks.
  • Working closely with the Head of Gaming, identify & scope new business & stakeholder partnerships.
Collaboration
  • Support the Head of Gaming in defining and iterating central and independent stakeholder strategies to build a robust and actionable strategic roadmap for development and post-launch live operations.
  • Effectively champion the team\xe2\x80\x99s vision & strategy, partnering with other parts of the organisation monitoring and reporting on strategic successes.
  • Working closely with The Head of Gaming & technical team to develop a (test & learn) innovation roadmap.
Marketing Intelligence
  • Stay up to date with the games industry market and related cross-industry developments.
  • Monitor trends and the competitive landscape to spot new stakeholder opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client and stakeholder: identities, needs, audiences and ambitions.
Data & Research
  • Build knowledge and understanding of data and insights across the business through regular communication with stakeholders and the creation of effective and meaningful data capture: tools, approaches, and reporting.
  • Work with our data team to identify and create necessary data tools. Identify, collate, and coordinate all cross-team data.
Communication & Networking
  • Support the development and delivery of internal & external comms plans.
  • Coordinate regular best practice materials, events, and education.
  • Pitch creative concepts to internal, client and brand partners.
  • Source, outreach, and maintain relationships with external contacts.
  • Identify and maintain a regular industry networking event and conference schedule.
Administration
  • Organise and arrange key meetings, events, and regular comms.
Qualifications and experience
  • BSc or BA in Marketing or Business \xe2\x80\x93 preferred.
  • Experience in a marketing, partnerships, PR of influencer role within or working with the games industry
  • Strong passion for gaming & curiosity in the emerging music x gaming trends.
  • Problem solver and a creative thinker that can provide insightful and innovative approaches to complex projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with dashboards, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management skills
About you
  • Experience in a Marketing role, either brand or agency side in the gaming industry.
  • Be creatively minded with commercial understanding.
  • Be passionate about innovation with the entertainment industry.
  • Have a deep understanding of the gaming industry and a passion for video games.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and networking skills.
