Job Summary


This role can be based in Bracknell, Basingstoke or Liverpool. The primary purpose of this role is to maximise the impact of our marketing campaigns for Europe whilst ensuring optimal efficiency and scalability, supporting and enabling our business transformation plans. It entails being accountable for the intake, solutioning, design and impact of marketing campaigns and digital initiatives to maximise commercial impact for both vendors and TD SYNNEX. This role requires optimal commercial focus, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure maximum impact at optimal price points.

This role will play a key part in optimising the impact of our customer's' investments, in terms of both ROI and customer satisfaction. It involves working in a small team to run the newly defined governance around intake or discovery (depending on the size of investment); architecting or selecting pre-determined solutions for marketing campaigns and, where appropriate, for the larger investments, running proactive in-campaign monitoring/ course corrections; and, for all campaigns, post-delivery, reflective end of campaign activities relating to impact, efficiency and efficacy to embed a continuous feedback loop that enables evolution of our marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities



Execute the Campaign Success Playbook for European Marketing:


- Deploy the appropriate programmatic solutions for smaller investments, adhering to the prescribed governance

- For larger investments, work as part of a collaborative team to understand the customer requirements, solution and architect the appropriate solutions, contribute to the pitching/bidding process to secure investments and ensure the campaigns runs as planned, intervening as necessary; ensuring that post campaign reviews are meaningful and feed into continuous improvement feedback loops

- Identify and mitigate risks that could adversely affect the desired process outcomes, escalating as appropriate

- Execute the clear accountabilities and responsibilities outlined for each step of the campaign journey

Act as a Product Owner for One or More Digital Products:


- Understand at least one of the digital products on offer in enough detail to champion it and raise awareness with customers and colleagues on its key selling points, strengths (and weaknesses)

- Standardise how the products are deployed and remove the need for tacit knowledge to deploy them successfully, so that they are scalable and repeatable

- Advocate for the digital products you own and ensure that any promotional materials relating to it are of optimal quality, up to date, especially of its efficacy and impact in objective, tangible terms

- Educate yourself about the array of digital products on offer

- Support and enable the testing or launch of new Proof of Concept/ Pilot or Go to Market products, helping to prove their value in a measurable, objective way

Contribute to, and Implement Best Practice:


- Contribute to regular reviews and analysis of implementation progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate changes

- Lead by example in a culture of accountability and continuous improvement where team members are aligned with the financial goals of the organisation

- Communicate and report on pilot implementation and embedding progress to the Campaign Success Practice Lead, suggesting course correcting activities where applicable

Be a Key Contributor to Operational Excellence:


- Focus on continuous and iterative improvement across the campaign lifecycle

- Identify and implement ways to streamline, simplify and standardise our operating procedures for optimal efficiency, productivity and impact

- Understand our marketing business goals and ensure that they are best utilising systems, processes, data and people to deliver European Marketing success with the highest possible quality and operational effectiveness

- Play an active role in the collaborative teams formed to service larger investments, supporting and challenging colleagues to achieve the best outcomes

Reporting and CI:


- Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, providing tangible actionable solutions

- Contribute in a timely manner to any outputs needed for customers or colleagues

- Champion change management activities to ensure that any new ways of working are adopted and embedded consistently across the organisation

- Execute the clear accountabilities and responsibilities outlined for each step of the campaign journey

Competencies:



- Experience in b2b digital marketing (agency or in-house), with a strong understanding of digital channel KPIs, especially SM and an interest in digital innovation

- Able to match campaign solutions with customer objectives

- Able to handle a two-tier approach to customer solutions, without compromising on the customer experience and campaign impact

- Able to coach, support and enable peers through change and embed new ways of working

- Articulate, with an ability to express views clearly and effectively to build confidence and motivate others to take action

- Able to demonstrate a data driven approach to problem solving

- Able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to accomplish tasks and projects

- Able to initiate and build strong working relationships at all levels

- Highly adaptable in a changing environment, able to see the bigger picture, try new approaches and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges or setbacks
