In this role, you are the driving force behind our most innovative and visually compelling client campaigns. You will lead the creation of high-quality, human-first content ranging from social graphics and videos to podcasts, photography, and infographics designed to engage audiences and bring brands to life.

This role is both hands-on and strategic. You'll not only create content but also manage end-to-end creative campaigns, overseeing Creative Executives and collaborating with Social Media Managers to ensure our output is bold, relevant, and effective. You'll also play a pivotal role in evolving our content creation services, mentoring team members, and driving creative innovation across the agency.

At times, you may also contribute to organic social delivery, from developing posting schedules to engaging with online communities in a way that reflects each client's brand voice. Whether managing your own accounts or stepping in to support others, you'll bring consistency, creativity, and strategic thinking to every project.

Ultimately, in this role you're not just producing content you're shaping how brands show up in the world.

Reporting Line



Your day-to-day work will be supported by the Senior Managers, with overall supervision and oversight provided by the Head of Social and People and Resource Manager.

Performance Expectations



In this rle, the main metrics your performance will be judged upon are:

Client Retention Client Contract Rollover NPS Client Satisfaction Upselling / cross-selling
And the associated targets:

Achieve a yearly client retention figure of 92.5% or higher. Achieve a yearly client contract rollover figure of 75.00% or higher. Contribute to achieving a yearly NPS score of 53 or higher. Contribute to achieving a quarterly upsell figure to the value of 5% of monthly Revenue or higher.

Key Responsibilities



This role involves you managing the social presence of a number of clients, in line with specific retainers and objectives. Your responsibilities will be:

Content Creation



Lead the way in creating exceptional content that connects with audiences - from photography and videography to podcast production and editing - ensuring every piece reflects our clients' brand voice and objectives. Craft engaging content for social platforms, including animated graphics, infographics, and videos, designed to spark conversation and drive results. Design full-size, research-backed infographics for blogs, websites, and campaigns, ensuring accuracy and relevance Plan and run Content Creation Days with precision - from risk management and location coordination to leading on-site production and team collaboration. Develop creative podcast concepts, host interviews, and deliver polished episodes that add real value for listeners. Respond to feedback with agility, refining your work to deliver outstanding results that exceed client expectations. Partner with our new business team to produce example content that inspires confidence in potential clients. Own the content creation section of strategy documents, ensuring creative plans are measurable, purposeful, and client-focused. Share your expertise with the team by mentoring and delivering training sessions to elevate the quality and innovation of our creative output.

Organic Social Media Management



Manage clients' social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, X, YouTube, etc) with a balance of strategy, creativity, and consistency. Create organic content that blends compelling copy with engaging visuals to drive audience connection and brand growth. Use scheduling tools such as Sprout Social, Canva, Productive, and platform-native features to plan and deliver content seamlessly. Foster online communities by responding to comments, driving conversations, and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement. Support client onboarding by crafting their initial content plans and ensuring alignment with strategy. Collaborate with Social Media Managers to deliver cohesive, results-driven content campaigns. Lead and support competitions and organic campaigns that inspire audiences and build brand loyalty. Step in to provide cover when needed, ensuring client work continues smoothly and without disruption.

Client Relationship Management



Build and sustain deep, trusting relationships with clients, acting as their strategic partner and advocate to secure long-term retention and organic growth. Lead comprehensive discovery processes to fully understand client cultures, objectives, and challenges, translating these into tailored, human-first creative and social strategies that drive real business outcomes. Own all client communications with professionalism and clarity, managing Partnership Launch Meetings, Strategy Reviews, regular check-ins, and proactive updates to keep stakeholders aligned and confident. Manage expectations transparently by setting clear goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and engaged at every stage. Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams - including Social Media Executives and Creative Executives - to deliver on client briefs with precision, quality, and creativity. Monitor monthly retainer budgets vigilantly, ensuring optimal allocation of hours, timely delivery, and maximising value for clients while maintaining profitability.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration



Lead, mentor, and support Creative Executives and Social Media Executives, nurturing their growth and fostering a high-performance culture. Collaborate closely with Social Media Managers and other departments to ensure a seamless, unified client experience. Contribute to creative direction in planning sessions, offering fresh ideas and insights that drive innovation. Share best practices and deliver internal training sessions to continually raise the standard of creative work across the team.

Continuous Learning, Innovation & Improving



Stay ahead of industry trends, audience behaviours, and competitor activity, turning insights into actionable strategies. Analyse performance data from tools such as Sprout Social and platform insights to refine and optimise content output. Experiment with new features, tools, and techniques to keep Giraffe at the cutting edge of social media and creative delivery. Actively share learnings with the wider team, encouraging a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and improvement.

Operational Excellence & Cultural Engagement



Utilise Productive and other project management tools to meticulously organise client workstreams, track progress, and document critical communications and decisions. Maintain active participation in company-wide meetings, virtual collaboration sessions, and Office Days, contributing positively to our inclusive, values-driven culture. Demonstrate adaptability and team spirit by undertaking additional responsibilities beyond your role when necessary, always prioritising the overall success of the team and clients.

Requirements



Proven experience in creative strategy and execution across social media. Strong understanding of current trends, influencer marketing, and content performance. Ability to manage multiple creative projects with tight deadlines. Excellent communication and client relationship skills. Proactive, ideas-driven, and collaborative with a passion for delivering exceptional results. Previous agency experience preferred. Suitable for hybrid or remote working.

Benefits



Salary: 29,400.00 to 32,340.00 per year, depending on experience. Bonus schemes and performance incentives. Additional leave, including paid volunteer days.
