Canna Campsite Assistant April to Sept 2026

Canna Campsite provides a range of self-catering holiday accommodation on the Isle of Canna.

The campsite has 3 Camping Pods and space for around 12 tent pitches. Plus cooking facilities and a shower/toilet block; On other sites: the West Caravan and Sanday Caravan (both sleep 4), Kate's Cottage Bunkhouse (sleeps 8), Sanday Cabin (sleeps 2)

What we are looking for:

Meeting guests and giving directions, collection and transport of luggage o Cleaning to a high standard within a tight turnaround between ferries Laundry - washing and ironing all linen for accommodation Maintenance - helping out with small jobs e.g. painting or gardening

What we offer:

Accommodation: bedroom in a modern 4 bedroom house shared with other seasonal staff and contractors.

This role covers the months of April to September 2026. Start/finish dates to be arranged. Wages: 12.71/ hour - with good free staff accommodation inc no utility bills/ free wifi ,

Hours: approx 30 hours per week but dependent on bookings. Days off arranged around work rota.

Necessary Skills:

Practical experience in an operational role in a holiday accommodation business. o Excellent cleaning and laundry skills Driving licence Energetic, hardworking and able to cope under pressure

Additional Work

I also run Canna Kitchen which makes a range of jams, chutneys, home baking and other goods. There are times that I need help making products and with gardening to ensure I have fruits to make the jams. This is also paid at the same rate as the campsite.
