Job Summary


We are seeking a fun, dedicated and compassionate pet carer to provide exceptional care for pets in our care. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to manage various pet-related responsibilities while ensuring the well-being of each pet under their care. This role requires reliability, strong experience and confidence around animals, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for pets.

Duties



Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed. Ensure pets receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation through playtime and interaction. Maintain cleanliness in the pet's living and play area by performing cleaning tasks such as maintenance and washing food bowls. Monitor the health and behaviour of pets, reporting any concerns to mangers promptly. Communicate effectively with managers regarding the residents needs and any issues that may arise during care. Provide excellent customer service to build strong relationships with pet owners and ensure repeat business.

Requirements



Previous experience in animal care settings is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. A genuine love for animals and an understanding of their needs and behaviours. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various pet care needs, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
