Role overview

We are looking for a Capture Lead to work on the Skynet Campaign. This role reports directly to the Sales Director and is part of our business growth function. This role will be the Capture Lead on the campaign, in co-ordination with the Sales Team, RPS Business Line, Functions and UK Account Managers.

Mission and Responsibilities:

Define and Execute Capture Plan

-Lead and manage the capture team to define and execute a winning strategy
-Come up with the appropriate successful capture strategy (including the necessary means) with the help of the capture team and under the guidance of Thales Senior Management within the different GBUs/ countries
-Monitor and tune the implementation of the capture strategy alongside the capture phase and align the actors inside and outside Thales (including partners / contractors / suppliers)
-Negotiate with the support of the account manager, the bid team\xe2\x80\xa6.
-Contribute with KAMs to the negotiation of the offer with the customer, with the support of the bid manager
-Finalize and sign the best contract for both parties in accordance with the negotiation provided by Senior management

Coordinate our internal network

-Profile, propose and veto the capture team members
-Coordinate and foster the team\'s organization and efficiency (Gate 0)
-Supervise and support the Bid manager in leading and coordinating the bid team

Measure and optimise

-Own and present the business case at each milestone to Management (Gates, Senior Management & Coordinate meetings)
-Obtain from Management the right to continue or not with the associated mandates
-Apply and drive the appropriate Bid process (Bid tailoring) with the support of the Bid manager
-Alert, solve issues related to the opportunity by proposing and approving scenarios to successfully re-orient the Bid

Deliverables produced

-Own presentation in the gates
-Capture plan / winning strategy
-Bid Value proposition & differentiators vs. competition (Black hat process)
-Global R&O deliverables + business model alongside project life

-Solid understanding of the customer\'s business (expectations and stakes)
-Leadership/ Ability to reassess its strategy (strategic thinking)
-Shaping solutions out of complexity, deal with uncertainty
-Risks & opportunities identification

Location and mobility

We have scope to have this role based from a number of Thales key locations, including Belfast, Glasgow Crawley, Reading, Temple Combe or Cheadle Heath. You should expect to undertake regular UK business travel, including travel to Customer sites as part of this role.
