We are looking for a Carbon Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.
What you'll do:
Support the continuous development and maintenance of our centralised carbon resource library and support our 5D Strategy;
Provide prioritised carbon reduction technical support to bids and other work winning initiatives, as appropriate to resources, time and importance;
Support the development of carbon awareness within the OU to help translating the people's technical expertise into tangible actions;
Responsible for supporting projects' carbon requirements;
To support the central team to continually improve the Skanska's carbon management system.
What you'll bring to the role:
Relevant BSc and Experience / competence in embodied carbon assessment methods, and their applicability across Infrastructure sector, including the RICS Whole Life Carbon approach
Experience / competence in LCA tools, such as OneClick, eTool etc.
Digital competence in PowerBI, Airtable. Comfortable working with large datasets
Experience in incorporating low carbon solutions into design or during the construction phases.
