Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team at Cardiff Garage. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their parts needs. This position requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a keen understanding of automotive parts and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their vehicles. Maintain an organised inventory of parts, ensuring all items are accurately labelled and stored. Utilise Microsoft Excel to track inventory levels and assist with ordering new stock as needed. Provide excellent phone etiquette when talking to customers, traders and contractors and be able to remain calm under pressure to find solutions to issues. Collaborate with the MOT and Service department to ensure timely delivery of parts for maintenance and repairs. Communicate effectively with customers, both in person and over the phone, ensuring clarity and professionalism at all times. Stay updated on new products and industry trends to better serve customers' needs. As and when required to drive locally to pick up car parts when needed urgently and be responsible when driving customer vehicles.

Experience

Previous experience in a parts advisor or similar role is essential. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly regarded, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base. Strong organisational skills are necessary to manage inventory efficiently and maintain an orderly workspace. A background in automotive maintenance or familiarity with automotive parts is advantageous. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues effectively.

To be eligible, you will ideally live within an easily commutable distance of Cardiff. You will need to hold a current and clean driving licence. You will also need to be IT literate, given you will work daily with ordering and electronic parts catalogue system, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic manner.

Basic salary is fully dependent on experience & current earnings. Monday to Friday Only - No weekends 8:00am-4:00pm or 9am - 5pm (Possibly 4 day week for the right candidate) Full brand-accredited training and development available. Weekly Pay Opportunity to work with a 5 Rated Garage in Cardiff

Pay: 24,420.00-30,000.00 per year
