As a Parts Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with parts inquiries and orders.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the appropriate parts for their vehicles or equipment. Maintain an organised inventory of parts, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely reordering when necessary. Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and in-person to provide exceptional service. Utilise Excel to manage inventory records and track orders efficiently. Provide expert advice on parts compatibility and usage to enhance customer satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations within the parts department. Stay updated on new products, industry trends, and best practices in parts management.

Skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Proficiency in Excel for managing data related to inventory and orders. Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work, particularly when dealing with inventory management. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base. Demonstrated phone etiquette skills to ensure professional interactions with clients.
