We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our parts department by providing exceptional service to customers and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Parts Advisor will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts needs, managing stock levels, and ensuring timely communication with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their needs.
Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on order status and availability of parts.
Utilise Excel to manage data related to inventory and customer orders efficiently.
Organise the parts department to ensure a tidy and accessible workspace.
Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues related to parts supply.
Provide support in training new staff members on parts processes and systems.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Proficiency in Excel for data management purposes.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
A keen attention to detail, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
