Trust Care are looking to build a team of highly skilled individuals who are looking to work 2 or 3 shifts a week. You will be an integral part of our dedicated team, providing high-quality care and support to our services. Our services are based right across the Scottish Borders, meaning you will get to work in places like:
Galashiels
Peebles
Selkirk
Hawick
Longnewton
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals with mobility and transferring using safe moving and handling techniques.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their well-being and independence.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
Document and report any changes in residents' condition or behaviour to the relevant staff members.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months of paid care home experience in the UK.
Proficient in personal care tasks and moving and handling techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
