Contract Types Available:

Full-Time, Nights - 36 hours per week Part-Time, Days - 24 hours per week

Shifts:

Day Shifts: 07:30 AM - 19:30 PM (2 shifts per week, rolling rota) Night Shifts: 19:30 PM - 07:30 AM (3 shifts per week, rolling rota)
Rota includes weekends and public holidays

About Hawthorn Court

Hawthorn Court is a 22-bed residential care home just outside Swansea, providing high-quality support to older adults, including those living with dementia and higher dependency needs. We're known for our fast-paced yet friendly team culture, with a focus on respectful, person-centred care day and night.

What You'll Do

Whether you join the day or night team, your role will include:

Assisting with personal care, hygiene, and mobility Supporting routines - morning, evening, or overnight Offering emotional reassurance and meaningful companionship Monitoring well-being and responding to needs promptly Carrying out light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean, safe environment Supporting a calm and professional handover between shifts

What We're Looking For

We need someone dependable, proactive, and confident supporting residents with dementia in a busy care home.

You'll be a great fit if you:
? Have at least 1 year of experience working in a UK care setting (essential)
? Have supported individuals with dementia or high care needs
? Are reliable, able to use your initiative, and thrive in a team
? Hold or are working towards NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care
? Can commit to shift work (weekends and public holidays included)
