7am-6pm, 7 days over a 2 week rota.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elder Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to elderly residents within a care home setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort and wellbeing, and fostering a respectful and caring environment. Duties
Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each resident's needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Experience
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy are vital qualities for success in this role
