Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Polish Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for all residents.

Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding. Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Help residents engage in social activities and maintain their independence as much as possible. Drive residents to appointments or outings when required, ensuring their safety during transport. Adhere to health and safety regulations within the care home environment.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members. Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and updating care plans is beneficial. Ability to work compassionately with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents when necessary. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing quality care.
