Job Description

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and passionate care assistant who is able to step up to an Acting Senior role to join our expanding team here at The Old Vicarage in Bolton.

Shift Times

(Shifts allocated on a weekly rota basis, dependent on contracted hours)

Day Shift Hrs: 08:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 21:00, 08:00 - 21:00
You will be required to attend, assist, and deliver personal care to residents. You will need to be able to perform within a team, but also at times use your own initiative to complete tasks. You will be fully trained up to be an acting senior ready for taking on responsibilities as and when required, working alone or along side the senior in charge.

per hour (based on 12.30 per hour plus 0.30p per hour Day Shift Attendance Bonus for Care Assistant role. Acting senior rate of 13.50 plus 0.50 per hour attendance bonus)

Ideal candidates will have:

A kind personality, be reliable and presentable At least 2 years experience providing care to the elderly within a similar environment Have a minimum of NVQ2 / Diploma Level 2 in Heath & Social Care or above
