Overview

Bubble Care Group are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. This position requires the ability to follow care plans and adapt to the individual needs of clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support clients in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall health. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Follow care plans meticulously while being attentive to any changes in the client's condition. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and mental well-being. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is desirable but not essential. Ability to drive and hold a valid driving licence is preferred. Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a care home or community setting.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
