The Role:

Complex Care Support Worker

Hourly Rate:

13.50 per hour

You will be recruited to work with

just one of our care packages

Contract Type:

Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the following contract types:

Part-time only available - 20 hour contract*

Driver with access to a vehicle:

Our team of skilled professionals offers around-the-clock specialised care for people with spinal cord injuries and other complex needs, and we are now looking for like-minded professionals to join us in providing top-quality care that truly makes a difference.

It's important to note that we recruit with a

person-centred approach

, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on

one package in a single location

. However, there is also potential to work across various packages within the area.

The Person You'll Support - Based in Derby:

You'll be supporting a

young girl

living with

Dystonia, Epilepsy, and Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia

.

This role includes:

Night shifts

(9:00PM - 7:00AM)

Personal care

PEG feeding

Moving and handling

Medication support

While not part of the night shift duties, it's helpful to know she enjoys hydrotherapy and days out with her family. She requires full support to access the community and the activities she loves.

You'll work closely with an existing team member to ensure a smooth and collaborative approach to care.

Before starting, you will receive

comprehensive training

to ensure you feel confident and fully prepared to meet the individual's needs.

Training:

At Josh's Care Company, we are committed to equipping you with all the training and knowledge you'll need to thrive in a complex care environment. Training includes:

Tracheostomy and ventilator care Postural and respiratory support PEG feeding and medication support
You'll be guided by our skilled and experienced

nursing team

, who will ensure that you receive the highest standard of support at every stage of your journey with us.
