Fraser Home Care is seeking committed, compassionate individuals to join our team as Senior Support Assistants (SSAs). In this pivotal role, you'll help uphold the high standards of care and dignity that define our service.

This is a part-time position working on rotation (average 30 hours per week)

Your Contribution

Provide consistent, dependable care across scheduled shifts, stepping into team lead responsibilities when needed Support and guide new team members through mentoring and informal training Communicate with clarity, focus, and empathy to ensure client needs are met Promote dignity and respect in every interaction with clients and colleagues Collaborate with other professionals to support individual care needs and accurately update care plans

Requirements

Essential: experience in a care setting Desirable: experience supporting individuals living with dementia Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care Strong communication and active listening skills Commitment to precision and timeliness in delivering care Openness to supervision and guidance from senior management Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Willingness to engage in ongoing training and meet qualification requirements
