We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care club Team Leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality care in our after school club. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for working with children, and the ability to develop and implement effective activities and routines. This role involves supervising a team of staff, ensuring that all children receive personalised support while fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of caring staff, providing guidance and support in their daily duties.
Develop, implement, and review individual plans for children, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Maintain regular communication with staff, families, and school professionals to ensure continuity of effective care
Conduct regular assessments of early years children and their needs and adjust activities and routines accordingly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding regulations.
Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in areas that you highlight.
Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion among staff and children alike.
Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care club or similar setting
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.
Knowledge of developing and implementing personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
