Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Co-Ordinator to join the team at G&P Healthcare Ltd. G&P Healthcare are a double award-winning, CQC registered Home Healthcare Company providing complex care to adult and children within their own homes.



The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring Care Standards are met throughout. This role requires a strong ability to work in an office environment, have the ability to cope under pressure, be able to display empathy and understanding ensuring that all care practices align with organisational goals and meet the needs or the Service users.



Duties

:

To be responsible to the Registered Manager for the day to day service provision to the Service Users by producing detailed work schedules for the Care Workers and providing both written and verbal instructions/guidance to them. This includes advising clients of any staffing issues and covering staff holidays in advance and covering sick calls satisfactorily and performing on-call duties.

To represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, on the telephone, face to face or in written communication. Ensuring the telephones are answered promptly and people are spoken to in a polite welcoming manner whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.

To telephone clients monthly to ensure their satisfaction with the service and staffing.

To carry out quality auditing of all HR files on a two monthly basis and act of findings promptly.

Liaising all concerns, issues and Outcomes to the registered manager.

To ensure all equipment is stocked to satisfactory levels within the office.

To take the lead with the recruitment, retention and supervision of Staff, liaising with nurses to ensure training and competencies are all up to date in line with standards. Co-ordinate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation and induction of all new Carers

At the direction of the Registered Manager - to carry out spot checks of the Staff's performance.

To assist the Registered Manager in holding team meetings for Care Workers. To produce reports as required by the Registered Manager and maintain accurate records.

Encourage innovative methods for the delivery of care.

Encourage health promotion within care strategies

Understanding of legislation concerned with the care provision.

Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and assist individual staff members to develop in their roles and levels of compliance with agreed standar

Support the implementation of G&P Healthcare's policies and procedures.

Support and maintain a culture of performance and excellence.

Qualifications/Competencies/Skills



NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care be willing to work to a higher level Experience as care co-ordinator Good Literacy, Numeracy and IT Skills. Full UK driving Licence Management Skills. Flexibility and reliability. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Access People Planner experience - Preferred but not essential Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst also being self-motivated. A passion for learning and development, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
